If you are thinking of joining us, then I hope this page is full of useful information for you. I really do understand that it can be daunting to walk into a new class for the first time, but please be reassured that you will always have a warm welcome and be surrounded by people of all ages and fitness abilities. It can be helpful to follow the Love Dance Letchworth Facebook page before a class, to see the playlists, join in a bit of chat and get involved in all the action between classes Facebook
Here is all the practical stuff you need to know…
- Evening classes need to be booked via GymCatch, daytime classes are drop-in so no booking is required. https://gymcatch.com/app/provider/9802
- If you have any questions or want to have a chat before, then please do send an email to fiona@lovedanceletchworth.co.uk, I would love to hear from you
- Please arrive a few minutes early to your first class to complete a PAR-Q health form and have a chat
- If you are not sure what to wear, please don’t let this stop you from coming along for the first time! Class members wear whatever is comfortable for them to exercise in. This is usually a t-shirt, vest, leggings or joggers and trainers.
- Please bring a bottle of water, but if you forget then let me know because I always have a coupe of spare bottles for emergencies! I also have hair bands, so let me know if you need one.
- Classes are currently at 4 venues, here is the information for each venue…
Pixmore Junior School, Rushby Mead, Letchworth, SG6 1RS (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings)– park in the school carpark and as you look at the building, walk round the right hand side and you will see he door open straight into the hall (we do not use the main school reception)
Baldock Community Centre, Simpson Dr, Baldock SG7 6DH (Wednesday mornings)– there are parking spaces outside the Centre and on the main High Street, please check signage for whether it is 1 or 2 hour free parking. There is also a pay and display carpark behind the Centre. As you walk into the building, turn right and we are in the main hall.
Mrs Howard Memorial Hall, Norton Way S, Letchworth, SG6 1NX (Thursday mornings)– we are in the main hall with a blue door. There is a pay and display carpark at the venue, or alternatives for free parking in the town centre with a little walk.
The Fortescue Hall , Pixmore Way, Letchworth, SG6 3TP – there is a small carpark, so please allow enough time to find alternative parking if it is full. There may be space on the road or alternatively there is parking in town or Morrisons carpark (please check all signage for restrictions)
