Welcome to Love Dance Letchworth!
Love Dance Letchworth was created by me, Fiona, with the mission of getting more people dancing, active and feeling great in Letchworth Garden City. The benefits of these classes are endless and for me dance is incredible for my mind, body and soul. I am exceptionally proud that classes are a friendly space for adults of all ages and fitness levels to come and exercise each week.
Many of us have enjoyed various dance classes in our childhood but this almost always becomes a distant memory once adult life takes over. My dance fitness classes make it possible, convenient and affordable to dance, exercise and have a bit of ‘me time’ in a busy life.
I have been a class instructor since 2012 and over the years have taught classes in the community and gyms. My main aim is for everyone to leave the class feeling better than they did before, that is certainly how I feel when I leave classes.
Here’s the official bit…I am qualified in level 2 Exercise to Music, level 3 Designing Exercise Programmes for Older Adults and level 3 Designing Exercise Programmes for Disabled Clients. I am trained in SOSA, Simply SOSA, Seated SOSA, Walkfit, Sit fit and FLEX. As well as this, I have completed many other trainings and CPD, such as chair based instructor training and Ability not Disability instructor training. I am a member of EMD UK, the Governing body for group exercise, and I’m insured and have a current first aid certificate. I strive to keep improving my knowledge and skills and will continue to do so.
Outside of classes I am mum to two little ones who keep me very busy! When I’m not at classes and the kids are in bed I like nothing more than doing a craft project while watching a good crime drama.
